Our traditional fire grates are made from mainly cast iron and solid brass. They adhere to classic designs which will last a lifetime. The modern fire grates are made from high quality mild steel. All our castings are sourced from reputable foundries in the UK.

Many of our fire grates are available with optional brass fittings which create a strong contrast to the colour of the fire grates. Most of the fire grates incorporate replaceable cast iron grills which mean that the fire grates can give many years of useful life.

Each fire grate can be fitted with a modern gas fire supplied by Dowding Metalcraft to match the grate. Where a gas fire is fitted, we can supply either traditional coals or log effect, or ceramic pebbles for a slightly more contemporary feel to the modern grate.

You can use our custom-built fire grate service to modify one of our standard designs or we can create a fire grate from your own design.

As these fire grates are individually made at our factory, we do not keep a large stock. So delivery could be 4 - 6 weeks.
